So, a few weeks before Xmas, I picked up an OM-4 body, which has aperture priority via an electronic shutter. Great fun, especially the spot metering that I find essential for almost anything. Takes all the challenge out of getting a tolerable exposure. But I'm using the old manual a lot more than I thought I would... That new sucker EATS shutter batteries. I'm only shooting 5 rolls of film for each set. It's a lot like a big blaster radio -- a black hole for Duracells. If you've got an electronic shutter, you'd do well to keep TWO sets of spares handy. -- ---------------- {ucbvax, decvax}!mtxinu!rtech!daveb "The closer you look, the worse it gets."
