Penn State has a few news groups up.. psu.ai.* which were put up to give a course over the net last spring on ai and its ramifications. One group was psu.ai.ethics. I have an interest in ethical problems and computers specifically MIS and I wanted a discussion group so.... I asked to recactivate psu.ai.ethics. fairly simple ground rules: 1. keep the posting about about concerns over computers and their social implications. 2. keep it reasonably non-inflamatory (no worse than Ken Arndt or Rich Rosen or myself) 3. Try to quote an ethical principal or two 4. you may go off to closely allied subjects such "information and society" or "robotization" or "automation and employement displacement" as long as the topic of the posting is related to digi-comps and their uses and some ethical consideration of that use. PLEASE POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vince Marchionni
