What a boring and stupid plot. I think of all the things that could be done with this movie and sigh to think that it may be just something like this. I say, just let Kirk, et. al. clear themselves of the charges quickly and cleanly (maybe giving it about as much time as Han Solo's rescue in Return of the Jedi), and let them all go off for adventure once again.
