Several weeks ago I posted a suggestion that some type of encounter/support
group  might  be  run  via  the  net  and  tentatively  offered myself as a
facilitator.  Since then I've seen virtually _no_ discussion of the idea on
the  net.  Five people have sent me mail which breaks down as 2 in favor, 1
interested, and 2 skeptical.  I'm, frankly, skeptical myself, and have been
from the start.

One person called and said they'd been having trouble reaching  my  via  my
net address.  I suspect our news/mail feeds from the net to the machine I'm
usually on are a little flakey at times, so I may have missed some mail  or
postings.  Unfortunately,  if  communications  are that unreliable for me I
can hardly expect to run a group from here, whether it's wanted or not.

At this time, I don't think  the  idea  has  generated  enough  support  or
interest  to warrant approaching a licensed psychologist with a request for
supervision (Note:  I would probably be charged for this service and  could
well expect to pay _$50 or more_ per supervisory session -- _not_ a trivial
expense).  I'm going to consider it tabled for  now,  unless  this  posting
generates further discussion.
