Let's face it, regardless of what anyone says, sexual attraction is a big part of an SO relationship. (Whether sex actually takes place or not) In order for a relationship of the SO variety to be successful, you need TWO things: 1) compatibility of personalities and 2) That *spark* that is the mutual attraction between SO's. I would happily be close friends with someone who has a great personality, but there's no way I would ever see a woman on an SO basis if I didn't find her attractive.
