Toronto has many cultural events. The Stratford festival has mostly Shakesperean plays, plus a few new ones - it is in Stratford, Ont., runs through October, and I believe begins in May. The dollar is still favorable to the Canadian dollar, which is a plus. Toronto is about 4-5 hours from Detroit, Stratford is 3 hours away. There are plenty of choices as to accomodations in both cities. Enjoy!
