In my followup yesterday I misspelt the village of Portmeirion as 'Port Merion.'
If you want that in Welsh it's Porthmeirion.  The rest of the article was
correct.

I am moving this discussion to net.tv where it really belongs.  I have
posted there a description of Portmeirion taken from a flyer I picked
up when I was there in August.
