I have been trying for some time to get *compress.c* to 
compile on Zilog System 8000.  Apparently, because of the 
segmented architecture of this system, it does not want to
compile.  Is there anyone out there who might know what the
problem is, or have a version of this code that will work on
a Z8000?  Zilog has been, so far, little help on this
matter.
