But it only runs at 4800 baud, or at least, their salesman keeps trying
to sell me a 4800 baud terminal controller instead of 9600 baud like
I want. They say, oh, you won't really notice the difference.

At least "amdahl" is an amdahl, unlike "pyramid", which is a vax.
