What happen to enterprise! This makes my blood boil and will create the hardware equivalent of dusty decks. No one should build hardware to connect to Hyperchannels just because most Crays talk to them. Where are the engineers? Let's build something better! Let Cray come to your door because you have something better than Hyperchannel. Hyperchannel is based on [what is now] expensive late 1960s logic. It is possible to buy two workstations for the price of one NSC adaptor now. Sorry, I just found this to be a rather short-sighted [but trying to be realistic] viewpoint.
