Well, the latest test kernel has failed in a new and novel way.  This
time it didn't crash, so we've probably found THAT problem.  However,
it repeats the first 14 characters of the login message over and over,
instead of printing the whole thing.  I fear something is wrong in the
optimization work we did in the DH driver.  I got a kernel dump.  As
always, stay tuned for the next thrilling episode...
