Has anyone had any experience working with the General Instruments
AY-3-8912 sound chip (or its brothers, the -8910 and -8913)?  I'm
looking at it for some tinkering, and am finding the datasheet
awfully unspecific about some things, notably the semantics of the
M bit and the electrical characteristics of the audio outputs.
