I forgot to inquire about your TV reception. If FM is lousy, TV should
be too for the same reasons. If TV is ok, it would pay to seek out the
reason for it. One possibility: you are on a cable system from a good 
antenna. the mgmnt may have nulled out the local FM station on the cable
because of overload and intermodulation problems.  If you have a cable
system in your building, it would behoove you to talk with the purveyors
of same about including decent FM along with the TV. Maybe they don't 
know anyone cares.
