I was at Arthurs (a merchandise discount store in Springfield, NJ)
last evening and saw there a technics cd (cant remember which model)
which they claim had alist price of $500 and they were selling for
$299.  It appeared to have only very basic features - still, that
seems to me to be pretty cheap (maybe it is even worth it).
