I always thought a crankshaft was a moving part.  Just kidding.  Sounds
like a wonderful idea.  It seems like the same crankshaft timing sensor
used for some fuel injection systems could be used for ignition timing.
The whole fuel injection/ignition controller could fit in one nice
little box under the seat.
