I am looking for information on any kind of devices, using radar, or
I.R light, or ultrasonic sound which attach to cars to give measurement
distances to other cars, or approach velocities.

Also, if anyone out there knows anything about "radar-braking" would they
please send me some information.

There is a company in England, in Lancashire to be exact marketing a
device called "Tailmate".  It mounts on the back of large trucks and
gives the driver a distance measurement to object behind him when the
truck is being operated in reverse.  Again, anyone with any knowledge of
the device please send along some info.
