Quite a while ago someone posted a note to the net about a book about life
insurance.  The general gist of it was that you should read this
"revealing" book before buying into this particular form of gambling.  Can
anyone give me any clues as to it's title or the author's name or
anything?  For some reason I seem to remember that the author lived in Dallas
(big help, huh?)

MAIL me your suggestions; I will post a summary to the net.

(By the way, I just read the Consumer's Union Report on Life Insurance.
It's good, but the copy I found at the library was published in 1972, which
limits it's usefulness.  I don't know if a newer edition is available.)
