He had replaced the car's original radio with a tape-deck-type (equalizer included). Unfortunately, it didn't last too long on NYCity's streets, so I'm looking for a replacement. The bottom line: I'm totally ignorant of the different car radios on the market, especially those that come *without* a tape deck (lightning can strike twice), and I would appreciate any info, experiences with, good stores in the NYC area, etc. Please respond to the e-mail address below, and accept my thanks in advance.
