     I am a newcomer to the data comm world.  I was wondering if anyone out
there in dcomland happens to know of any brief description or overview of
what it is/isn't possible to do via datacomm.  In other words, I am
interested in knowing about what is made possible by LAN, TCP, etc.  Brief
overviews of each category of datacomm are wanted.  If anyone reading this
knows of any such discussions/articles or could even write a brief overview
and send it to me, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
