I am working on some software which has to include peoples' names in
the output.  I am obtaining these names from files created by an
optical mark reader which is pretty limited in the kind of
characters it can produce--no lower case and no punctuation.  So
I sez to myself, what I need here is a name sanitizer/beautifier to
make pretty-looking last names from those which aren't.  Anybody ever 
seen a routine in any of the Decus stuff (or some other PD source) 
which would do something like that?
