The compact driver was at fault (unless the truck drove up last...) for a bad case of criminal stupidity... he'll remember in the future... Trucks always make two lane wide (or more) right turns... ever notice the funny signs on the back.... Course the compact driver/owner can sue and win for a new car... In my case... I 'drove' while under the trailer (yup between the wheels of the tractor and trailer), well, actually only about two foot under... for a half block till I could 'yank' the car out from under it... I almost lost it when I looked in the mirror and noticed my passengers (two very good friends) were missing! Turns out they bailed out, but I didnt know it then. The punch line is that when the truck finally pulled over ( a witness 'ran' him off the road at their own risk) he walked about half way back asked if everyone was alright, AND STARTED WALKING BACK TO THE CAB!!! I dont remember how I got there, maybe teleportation, but it was a funny sight..... picture an overweight 17 year old kid shaking a truck driver by his collar... -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rich Silva RETIX 2211 Michigan Ave Santa Monica CA 90404 UUCP:{trwrb,ucscc,litvax,ucla-cs,bradley}!cepu!ccup!silva
