'Way back in 1961 I was the victim of a "squeeze play" on the Jersey
Turnpike.  I had am MGA 1600 (black), and was not sufficiently visible
to the big ol' 16 wheelers.  One came into my lane right over top of me:
all told, I drove for 1/4 mile completely under the rig, until I could
break out into a clear lane.  As far as I can tell, nobody noticed: the
truck on my right, the truck on my left, the truck behind, or the truck
overhead.  They all just kept on truckin'.

Next day, I traded the black MG for a brilliant day-glo yellow TR3.  It
looked like a Tonka toy, but trucks noticed.
