Just so I don't get flamed....the definition I posted for "Cruft.." was taken
from an old on-line version of the hackers dictionary that was obtained from
SAIL quite a long time ago, in fact long before the Hackers' Dicktionary was
published.  In fact, I am not sure if the H.D. is copyright-able, as it
is, as far as I know, in the public domain....
