I was just starting to get the temper into cussing mode when she asked if she could borrow my rear-view mirror. She proceeded to reposition the mirror to direct the light back in the jerk's face. I'm tellin' ya, that did the trick real quick! The guy backed off the beams and my car. It's not a great idea for the driver to do this, as it is a distraction. However, I've used this a few other times and it works when a rider does the aiming. I know that the eager young flamers will say that you could cause an accident doing this, but I get followed by an awful lot of those terrible tailgating beamers. They WILL cause an accident if they ride my bumper doing 60+ and obliterating my forward vision. I will say that it's not a good idea to do this maneuver in heavy traffic, but I trust common sense is not obselete yet.
