Why do men post to net.women?  Why do I post to net.kids? (I don't have
any.)  Because the problems and issues that are raised (a) are
interesting to a large group of people and (b) can sometimes be answered
by people who are not now part of the group (even after I get married, I
will still have had the experience of being single).
