Lines: 17 One of the more inane features of rogue 5.3 is the -d flag. When you invoke rogue -d, it kills you right away, prints out a tombstone, and tries to add you to the score file. It selects some small number of gold for you, a level where you died, and a cause of death. The amount of gold is always something small, ranging from about 2 to 90. The level, which appears only if you make the score file, is typically something credible like level 53. The cause of death is either a random monster (Aquator, Bat, Centaur, ...), a weapon (arrow, bolt, dart, ...), or a medical phenomenon (hypothermia, starvation, ...). Or you can be killed by "a Wally the Wonder Badger". Does anybody know anything about "Wally the Wonder Badger"? Martin Eiger {genrad, talcott, wjh12}!panda!mie
