Here is the intro to Underdog as I remember it:

NARRATOR:  "One of the city's most humble and lovable citizens is
	   Shoeshine Boy."
SHOESHINE: (to customer) "All finished, Sir."
CUSTOMER:  "Thanks, Shoeshine Boy. You're humble and lovable."
SHOESHINE: "Bless you, Sir." (bites the coin he was paid with)
NARRATOR:  "Little do they know that whenever there is a cry for help..."
WOMAN:     (offstage) "Help, help!"
NARRATOR:  "...Shoeshine Boy rushes into a nearby phone booth and becomes..."
	   (phone booth explodes) "...the mighty UNDERDOG!"

Theme song:
	When criminals in this world appear
	Who break the laws that they should fear
	And frighten people far and near
	The cry goes out both far and near
	For Underdog! (Underdog!)
	Speed of lightning, roar of thunder,
	Fighting all who rob or plunder,
	Underdog! Underdog!

Villians: Simon Bar Sinister and Cad, Riff Raff, the Mole King, the
	Electric Eel, the Clouds, the Witch, and the Saturn People.

Well-known couplets from Underdog:
	"There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!"
	"I am a Hero who never fails, I can't be bothered with such details."
	"There's a secret compartment in my ring that I fill,
	 with an Underdog Super Energy Pill".

Closing lines:
MAN:    "Look, up in the sky! It's a bird!"
WOMAN:  "It's a plane."
GIRL:   "It's a frog."
UNDERDOG: "Not bird, nor plane, nor even frog,
	   It's just lil' ol' me..." (crashes into something)
	   "...Underdog."
