Subject: Anybody using Green Hills f77 compiler?

We are continually reminded by VMS people that the Unix f77 compiler
provided with 4.2bsd is less efficient than theirs by about a factor
of 2.  We are looking for better performance.  Does anyone have any
experience with the Green Hills Software optimizing f77 compiler for
4.x bsd Unix?  Is it real, or is it vaporware?  ... and is it better?

If I get a reasonable number of responses I will summarize to the net.
