There were too many replies to my request for info on this disease
to reply individually. My girlfriend and I want to thank you all
for your input - especially those of you who also have it.
She is recovering slowly and is in good spirits. The bottom line
seems to be that there is nothing that can be done - but it does
"cure" itself in many cases.
