We are trying to decide whether we should buy Macs and use a product like MacDraw, IBM (MS-DOS) compatible micros and use something like AUTOCAD, or perhaps the new HP IPC, which I hear has a pretty good graphics capability. I would like to have something that is transportable, so I can use it to communicate with my office when traveling. I realize that this capability may limit me to either the MAC or the HP though, since using an IBM transportable machine would still require the schlepping around of a high-resolution monitor. I definitely need something with an object-oriented CAD program available for it. Something like MacPaint, while lots of fun, is rather limited. Any comments on this subject would be appreciated.
