If you don't get that newsgroup, and you're interested, mail me and I'll mail a copy. Quick summary. It's NOT a 1200/1200 modem. It can do 300/300, 1200/75 (Prestel) and 75/1200 (reverse Prestel). It will also auto-dial and auto-answer. Speeds are CCITT or Bell. It uses some devious software to dial and other things, which will cost you another 20 quid for the Beeb (ROM).
