We are building an application on a multibus board, and are interested
in basing it on the Intel 8031 or 8096 microprocessor. Our decision
hinges on the availability of software development tools, either
UNIX-based or standalone (e.g. on MS-DOS or CP/M systems), for
cross-compiling, assembling and debugging.

Any leads to information on such tools would be appreciated.
