(Query) Message-ID: <632@tty3b.UUCP> Date: Fri, 15-Mar-85 09:32:12 EST Article-I.D.: tty3b.632 Posted: Fri Mar 15 09:32:12 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 16-Mar-85 04:57:39 EST Organization: Teletype Corp., Skokie, Ill Lines: 18 I have found the netnews Mac newsgroups (net.micro.mac and fa.info-mac) invaluable in providing information about the Mac. I have been reading them for a while and have recently bought a Fat Mac. I know of three other people here who have also bought Macs within the last three weeks. The problem: How do we get up to speed on some basic things about File Exchange, etc. I'm sure that months ago, in this newsgroup, a lot of articles explained how macput/macget and binhex 2.0 and binhex 4.0 and xbin and all the others work. But we missed them. How can that information be periodically provided, maybe in a single digest, to new readers (and owners)? Suggestions via mail appreciated. Mike Kelly
