In case your interested, the responses to one of my previous
articles indicate that the 128K roms are plug compatable with
the current roms. Plus, the current roms are socketed, so
replacement would not be messy!

Note, not all of the finder would fit into firmware, however,
I would not mind an extra 64K of free space on the system disk!
There would also be a speed up in loading time after exiting
an application, a definite plus.

I wonder what effect this will have on products like the Fast Finder?
