Plus, the current roms are socketed, so replacement would not be messy! Note, not all of the finder would fit into firmware, however, I would not mind an extra 64K of free space on the system disk! There would also be a speed up in loading time after exiting an application, a definite plus. I wonder what effect this will have on products like the Fast Finder?
