Besides computer resources, they will rent office space. I look at my computer resource use and I am (what we called in college) a "disk use criminal." I am also a CPU uses criminal and am logged into one computer or another most of my waking hours. Once when a company I was doing work for rented timesharing service and I used $5400.00 in two days!! With bills like that the company could buy a couple of 11/780's per year! Why use timesharing services? I am wondering, are there timesharing services on the net? How much do you charge? Are there permenent customers, or do people rent time for a short period to do development on a specific computer? I think that perhaps a tiered rate structure would be appropriate. Has anyone had experience with this? Please reply by mail. Any comments would be appreciated. -- scc!steiny Don Steiny - Personetics @ (408) 425-0382 ihnp4!pesnta -\ 109 Torrey Pine Terr. ucbvax!twg --> scc!steiny Santa Cruz, Calif. 95060 fortune!idsvax -/
