Does any one know on what record I can find this song?  A friend of mine
said that it was on Elton John's "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano
Player", but I couldn't find it listed there. 

Some of the lyrics are (not necessarily correct but close):

...like a candle in the wind.  Never knowing where to turn to when the
rain came in...and I would have like to know you but ... Your candle
burned out long before, your legend ever did...
