During this time, mail and news will still be transferred. Starting Wednesday morning, we will be installing the 4.2 BSD/BRL release on "gatech". We expect to be finished with this installation sometime on Friday, March 29. However, mail and news traffic may be unreliable for a few days afterwards until we get everything settled in. News and mail to and from the following Georgia Tech sites will definitely be affected: gatech, gitpyr, gt-stratus, gt-nimbus, gt-cirrus, gt-cmmsr, gt-fido, gtss, gtqo Mail to and from the following sites will probably be affected; it is suggested that alternate routes (viz., through akgua) be used for the next week: dcc1, dcc2, emory, fba, ga-ast, gacsr, galbp, ganehd, itm, medstar, msdc, sysd, vctvax Other sites connecting to gatech may also be affected.
