Not being of Indian descent, I have a question about indian
culture.

I have a date with an indian girl, being that she lives with her
parents, and that her parents have displayed an infinite amount of
understanding to allow her to go on a date with me, I would like
to bring them a gift.

Now this is the hard part,  What can I bring them???  I have thought
and thought, but I do not know enough about indian culture to be sure
I am not insulting them.  Since they have understanding for me, I would
like to have understanding for them.

Any suggestions???

Second question --  We are going to an Indian restaurant for dinner,
she is going to where an Indian outfit.  If I was going to bring her
some flowers, what kind should they be???

Please do not think these question are insulting or silly.  I am asking
them in total sincerity.




Also the date is for March 22, so please hurry with the replies so I
get them in time!
