I've been going to the Squaw lake area just north of Yuma Az, but the facilities are pretty minimal there. We are starting out from San Diego, lake Havasu and north is too far fora weekend trip. I'm thinking about the area around Blythe and south, but I'd hate to show up late on a friday night and not be able to find a decent place to camp. Also, what are the water levels like this year?
