The book is an inflammatory attack on the Mormon religion and all its members. Its primary tactic is to point out doctrines in Mormonism that differ from those of fundamentalist Christianity and claim that these differences prove the evil of Mormonism. The different doctrines are also ridiculed as absurdities, whereas in fact the doctrines of the fundamentalist Christians who wrote this crap are just as ridiculous to anyone outside Christianity. Why is it more ridiculous to believe that a man can become god than to believe that a virgin can bear a child? I consider the book comparable to "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion". -=- Tim Maroney, Carnegie-Mellon University, Networking ARPA: Tim.Maroney@CMU-CS-K uucp: seismo!cmu-cs-k!tim CompuServe: 74176,1360 audio: shout "Hey, Tim!"
