Summary: 

I expect to find out eventually whether there is life after death
and if so, what it is like.  (Either that or to find out how to achieve
immortaiolty, which might be interesting too.)  I do NOT expect to find
out someday what it's like to be a chimpanzee.  (Maybe some reincarnationists
do, of course.)

So merely on the basis of what will be eventually knowlable....
