Perhaps the attitude in the States is a little > more relaxed. The attitude in the States is far from relaxed (in some states anyway). There has been a "Don't Drive Drunk" crusade in NJ throughout this year, starting from New Year's Eve, where NJ Transit offered to give free rides all night to anyone out partying to keep them off the roads. I've heard of many people being stopped and asked to submit to sobriety tests. I've even been stopped once, but I didn't get checked. I told them I hadn't been drinking, which was true, and I guess they believed me. I have heard that your license can be suspended for up to a year if you are caught driving under the influence of alcohol. -- ... hey, we've gotta get out of this place, there's got to be something better than this ...
