(actually I just pay 1/2) I have never been one to spend other peoples money easily. Yes, I find that I make as much, or more than some of my lunch dates. As for you buying the meal, I don'T think it's weird. I do the same thing if the person I ask out says "Not this time, I'm a little short". If I am looking for company, it is well worth paying for their meal. Laura, if you ever come to Portland, I'll show you some good places to get a healthy meal for the best prices.
