Are there any public domain star catalogues available
in machine-readable form on the net?  If you know of
any, could you please tell what media format it is
in (on-line, on tape, on floppy) and how large it is?
A brief description of what is contained in the catalogue
would be very helpful also.
We have a user at our site interested in obtaining
such a catalog.
