BSD Message-ID: <675@rayssd.UUCP> Date: Thu, 21-Mar-85 12:03:42 EST Article-I.D.: rayssd.675 Posted: Thu Mar 21 12:03:42 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 23-Mar-85 01:10:01 EST Organization: Raytheon Co., Portsmouth RI Lines: 27 Has anyone gotten the multi-page table macros of System 5's MM macro package to work under a non-System 5 nroff? I have been trying to get the right combination of System 5 and 4.1BSD or 4.2BSD "nroff" and "tbl" programs to work with the MM macros as distributed under System 5, and more specifically, to be able to use the .TS H and .TH macros for multiple page tables with a common header, and have not been having too much luck. Anyone else trying this? C One of the problems that seem to crop up with the System 5 macros is that it causes the "Out of temp file space" or "Too many string/macro names" error on the 32V nroff, and the System 5 nroff has its' own set of peculiarities... Maybe I'd have better luck with Ditroff and/or the S5R2 stuff... The only bugfix I've seen on something similar to this is the article dated Jan 9, 1984 from smoot@ut-sally.ARPA, which refers to the "\g" format request being missing.
