So far, I've been unable to get reliable information concerning what areas are safe to travel in and with what modes of transportation. What problems can I anticipate traveling by bus from Mexico City to Guatemala City to San Salvador to Tegucigalpa to Managua to San Jose if in fact that route is still open? Will Honduras or Guatemala or El Salvador deny me entry if I have a Nicaraguan visa in my passport? Will Nicaragua deny me entry if I have spent time in Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador? What about air travel?
