Most stations that buy Dr. Who also buy many other BBC series. Why not urge these stations to take a hiatus from BBC shows for as long as Doctor Who is not produced. ITN produce good shows (Jewel in the Crown is but an example), plus it would give the unheard of an opportunity to be heard.
