I need a quick rough estimate of the number of lines of  code  in
as  many  different  Operating Systems as possible.  If possible,
the breakout between  the  kernal  and  the  tool  set  would  be
helpful.   If  anyone  knows  these  kinds  of  figures for other
Operating Systems besides UNIX-es (I've heard that VMS is  aprox.
1M lines of Macro!), I'd appreciate them.
