Thanks to the generosity of AT&T, we are getting here at U.C.S.D. a huge
number of 3B2 machines that we want to use for teaching undergraduate
computer science courses.  To put these machines to good use, we sorely
need their Reference Manuals as well as their Assembler Manuals.

We have heard during the last months many rumors about the fact that AT&T
will or will not formally release these manuals.  There must be people
in netland than know more about this than I do?  Could one of them tell
me what is happening?
