Is this a bug or a feature? It took me about 2 hours to stumble on the problem; there was nothing in the f*in manuals about it. The new 4.0 manuals are in general cleaned up and zippier-looking, but I have found a lot of things that aren't really *clearly* documented. You can extract enough info to get around if you dig hard enough and look in unexpected places. For instance, ACL's. The little preamble section to the ACL *Editor* is where it all lives. I suppose that's why they're having sessions on ''Getting your ACL's up'' at DECUS this spring.... I shudder to think what I'll go through when I go to bring up DECNET. _H* -------
